God of War Ragnarok is going to introduce new highly anticipated characters like Tyr, one of the war gods, Sköll and HatiSindri, wolves important to Norse mythology and more, but still, the cast from the first game will also be coming back. In addition to Kratos and Atreus, returning characters include Mimir, a Norse God, Sindri, one of the dwarven merchants and blacksmiths, and Brokk’s brother, among many others. Fans of these characters can now enjoy the latest batch of artwork coming from the world God of War Ragnarok.
These new returning characters are presented in a fun family portrait that can definitely be considered the calm before the storm, God of War Ragnarok fan theories about what could happen in the story. This Slice of Life digital illustration was shared on Twitter by MissRoMayo and is part of God of War Ragnarok series of family portraits. The artist aptly named this digital rendering of the characters enjoying a nice meal together “The Heroes of Midgard.” MissRoMayo says it was done in collaboration with Santa Monica Studio and PlayStation, with more family portraits expected in the near future.
A second post on Twitter was made by MissRoMayo which includes four photos of the artist working on the digital illustration, showing their process and inspiration on how to deal with the right way to depict the dynamic of these characters in relation to each other. Among more series of family portraits on the horizon and of God of War Ragnarok art director teases fans about what’s next, players have a lot to look forward to.
MissRoMaya’s collection of artwork is sure to keep fans entertained while they wait God of War Ragnarok’s bulk download, which is double the file size of its previous entry.
