Amazon’s competitors are hoping to eclipse the hype surrounding the Prime Early Access Sale with some big discounts today.

Target is kicking off the holiday shopping season early with 10% off their gift cards for Red Card and Circle members. As a deal writer for the past eight years, I don’t recall Target ever offering this sale in September.

Retailers are also discounting the Hisense U7H series ULED TVs, though we think that deal may end today, as Best Buy and Amazon have it as Daily Deals, and Walmart is likely matching it at prices. This TV has many of the features you’d expect from a mid-to-high-end TV at a budget price, and there’s a 100-day warranty (see details on the page) for those skeptical to give it a try.
