Marvel’s Midnight Suns takes XCOM’s tactical RPG rules and fuses it with an all-star roster of Marvel superheroes and super-villains. After a delay from its October release date, Midnight Suns will arrive on PC, Xbox and PlayStation sometime in 2023, and four editions are now available for pre-order. There are also some nice bonuses for booking an advanced copy — here’s what you need to know Marvel’s Midnight Suns pre-orders.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns Pre-Order Bonus
All pre-orders include the exclusive Doctor Stranger Defenders Skin. And while it’s not exactly a pre-order bonus, signing up to receive email announcements from 2K will net you the exclusive Blade Nightstalker Skin.
$60
Four editions of Marvel’s Midnights Sun are available, with the standard edition being the most affordable. Includes any eligible pre-order bonuses with the base game. Physical versions are available for pre-order now at GameStop, Best Buy, and Amazon, and digital copies are now available at their respective storefronts (PSN, Xbox Store, Steam). This is the last generation of the game for PS4 and Xbox One, though you can play it on next-gen consoles thanks to backwards compatibility (though you’ll miss out on next-gen improvements).
$70

Opting for the enhanced version will get you the PS5 or Xbox Series X version of the game along with the Enhanced Premium Pack which includes five exclusive skins. You’ll find digital versions on PSN, the Xbox Store, and Steam.
$80

The Digital+ Edition of Marvel’s Midnight Suns will bring you the base game for next-gen consoles along with the Digital+ Premium Pack which comes with 11 exclusive skins. You’ll find digital copies on PSN, the Xbox Store, and Steam. Best Buy also has a PC version available.
$100

If you want to have a lot of customization options when Marvel’s Midnight Suns is released, consider purchasing the Legendary Edition. Not only will you get 23 premium cosmetic skins, but you’ll also get access to the season pass after launch. If you buy the Legendary Edition in stores at GameStop, you’ll get a free Iron Man Funko Pop. Digital copies can be found on PSN, Xbox Store and Steam.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns tasks you with fending off the Hydra — who has teamed up with the monstrous Lilith to help further their cause. To stop the threat, you’ll have access to a deep roster of Marvel superheroes (including Spider-Man) as you face tactical, turn-based gameplay.
The Hunter is the protagonist of the series, which is the “first customizable origin hero in the Marvel universe.” You’ll take control of Hunter as he teams up with other iconic Marvel characters to stop Lilith, Hulk, Sabretooth and Venom. Our recent hands-on preview revealed a game that’s surprisingly different from XCOm, despite coming from the same studio.
