ONE Minecraft the user decided to create a fairly large facsimile of one of the most famous props in film history, namely the DeLorean car from Back to the Future. Since the game doesn’t require a powerful computer and is available on multiple systems, Mojang’s sandbox title is extremely accessible for anyone who wants to play it. As such, players have spent years making the most of the blocky world and producing all sorts of unique and interesting builds, some of which relate to other aspects of pop culture.
With Minecraft Continuing to be updated with new content such as fan-voted mobs, there’s obviously a lot of life left in this decades-old release. Much of that longevity comes from the community itself, which has spent the last ten years or so coming up with ideas, and that’s what’s helped keep the game in the limelight. Of course, since the title is made up of 1×1 blocks, it can be difficult to make detailed builds, so many people will blow up their creations to much larger scales.
That was certainly the case for Reddit user WheeldLight44, who recreated the instantly recognizable car from Back to the Future series. Specifically, the creator says that their Minecraft version comes from the second installment of the sci-fi comedy franchise. Some images posted on the site show the reconstruction from various angles, showing its much larger size compared to the original. The build even shows the interior of the car, as well as the flux capacitor that aids in the vehicle’s time travel capabilities.

While Back to the Future may seem cheesy, especially in this day and age, its iconic status cannot be denied, with its beloved story and performances by Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd. As such, the films are considered classics, with the original installment regarded as the best of the trilogy, and considered one of the most famous films of the 1980s.
It’s things like that that they do Minecraft so popular, even after all these years. The fact that players can come together and recreate their favorite pop culture elements is what gives the game almost infinite replay value. There may come a time when the gaming community finally moves on from creating creative projects, but for now, it seems fans are more than happy to keep building.
Minecraft is now available for Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
