by A recent leak seemingly confirms that EA Need for Speed: No Limits coming this December. Reportedly in development by UK studio Criterion Games, it will be his studio debut Need for speed game since then Need for Speed: Rivals in 2013.
EA struggled to keep up Need for Speed: No Limits under cover, assuming some of these slips weren’t intentional. EA briefly hosted an image for Unbound before quickly pulling it from the site. Meanwhile, Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson leaked the game’s upcoming reveal late last month.
The latest leak is courtesy the Gematsu Games Editionwho found a product listing for Need for Speed: No Limits on Japanese retail site Neowing. The page, which was apparently published early, lists the game’s release date as December 2, 2022, for the PlayStation 5. There is no mention of an Xbox Series X/S or PC version, which seems to contradict previous leaks . However, it seems likely that Neowing simply doesn’t carry the other versions. There is also no indication of this Need for Speed: No Limits it will come to last generation consoles.
In addition to confirming the game’s release date, the product listing also included some screenshots of the upcoming Need for Speed: No Limits. The four images are unfortunately a bit low resolution but give some idea of what the new game will look like. Previous installments as of 2019 Need for Speed: Heat they generally aim for photorealism as much as possible. However, Need for Speed: No Limits takes a different approach, combining realistic cars and environments with characters and visual effects inspired by anime or comics.
Twitter responses to the leaked images were decidedly mixed. Some fans seemed pleased with what was to come Need for speed shaded game elements. Others were much less enthusiastic, with some fans claiming it made the game look too much Fortnite. Others responded with sarcastic taunts along the lines of “this is definitely a plan.” Some commentators even noted the conflicting responses.
Regardless of the fans’ views on Need for Speed: No Limitsits graphic design, it’s at least good to have a confirmed release date. In the meantime, fans have the official reveal to look forward to. The upcoming Need for speed: No restrictions The trailer is scheduled to premiere on October 6 at 11 AM. Eastern/5 a.m. Need for speedofficial YouTube account. Hopefully, it will give fans a better look at the upcoming game.
