New York Jets WR Corey Davis wins return to Pittsburgh Steelers

It wasn’t looking too good for Jets wide receiver Corey Davis in 2021, bound for 2022.

After signing a three-year, $37.5 million free agent contract out of Tennessee, Davis has been incredible.

He played in nine games his first season in New York and caught just 34 passes on 59 targets. It was his lowest catch total since his rookie season in 2017. Plus, he had a career-high two touchdowns and the ink was barely dry on his contract.

Compounding the problem were the games he missed during the season due to injury, including the latter part of the season when he required surgery on his core muscles.
