Nintendo presents Marth In Fire Emblem Engage

One of the returning characters in the upcoming Fire Emblem Engage release is Marth. This character first appeared in 1990 and has made many appearances since then even outside of the series. In the new mainline Fire Emblem, Marth returns as a legendary hero.

Ahead of the game’s Switch release earlier this year, Nintendo is releasing more information about each of the characters. Here’s a closer look at Marth, along with a description:

“Emblem Marth (VA: Hikaru Midorikawa), also known as “Emblem of the Principalities” is a hero among heroes who is extremely noble and charismatic. A prince of Altea, from the outermost continent of the Archaeans.

“Emblem Marth is a sword-wielding ace; when characters equip his ring, they are more likely to dodge enemy attacks.”

And here’s Nintendo’s official story description for Fire Emblem Engage:

“In a war against the Fall Dragon, four kingdoms teamed up with heroes from other worlds to seal this great evil. As a Divine Dragon, use rich strategies and powerful customization to meet your destiny – to collect emblem rings scattered around the world and bring peace back to the continent of Elyos Summon and fight alongside legendary heroes from the past Emblem of FIRE toys, like Marth and Celica, and add their power to yours in this new story. The turn-based, tactical combat system the Emblem of FIRE The series is known for returning with a new cast of characters that you can customize and engage with to carefully plan your strategy.”
