Showing off their creative clay sculpting skills online, a fan of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet has created a cute figure of Wiglett, one of the recently revealed pocket creatures in Nintendo’s upcoming title. With Pokemon Scarlet and VioletWith Wiglett being brand new and only introduced in the ninth generation of Pokemon, it seems reasonable that many fans are fascinated by the creature’s form and features.
Revealed at the end of September 2022, Pokemon Scarlet and VioletThe Water-type Wiglett seems to have already caught the attention of fans of the game. Both fan art and fan theory discussions about Wiglett can be found on online forums and platforms. Given how fierce POKEMON Fans may be about a new title or their favorite pocket creatures, it’s no surprise that every new Pokemon that Red and Violet Presentations will be spotlighted in community threads and online discussions.
On Tiktok, user hotbinky showcased the cute Wiglett clay figures he created using air-clay in a short video. The footage showcased the artist’s entire creative process, from sculpting the clay to reflect Wiglett’s worm-like shape to painting the Pokemon’s white body, pink snout and small eyes. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Fans will likely enjoy the attention to detail hotbinky put into the tiny clay figures they created. They even made several figures to replicate Wiglett’s form when the Pokemon is both in and out of the ground.
According to hotbinky’s other social media accounts, this is not the first Pokemon from the Paldea region that they have sculpted using air clay. On their Instagram page, they have also posted footage of the sculpting of one of them Pokemon Scarlet and VioletFuecoco kicks. In this video, the artist also put the same effort and attention to detail into bringing the Fire Pokemon to life, albeit in a smaller form. Other Pokemon hotbinky has air-clayed are the iconic Pikachu, legendary Pokemon Mew and Rayquaza, Grass-type Bulbasaur, shape-shifting Ditto, and more.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet still has plenty of new Pokemon to introduce to the community, especially if the game’s new Pokedex will be filled with pocket creatures found only in the Paldea region. And with just over a month until the game’s release, fans would probably enjoy seeing more of hotbinky’s cute clay figures of the new Pokemon that Red and Violet will be revealed in the days leading up to its release.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will be released on November 18 for Nintendo Switch.
