Fans are eagerly awaiting the upcoming POKEMON games to see some recently introduced pocket monsters in action. These include Fuecoco, Quaxly, Cyclizar, Lechonk and Smoliv, among many others.
While they wait, fans are showing their love for the upcoming Pokemon through impressive fan art. Not long ago, an artist made an impressive painting of the Paldean Wooper, the local variant of the Wooper that will be featured in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. In comparison, another made a Gen 5 sprite of Wiglett, a Pokemon that was revealed a few days ago. Likewise, another fan has come up with an awesome one POKEMON sprites in the style of second generation games, Pokemon Gold and Silver.
Reddit user The_Internet_Goblin deserves credit for making an impressive one Pokemon Gold and Silver-Sprite of Farigiraf, a recently revealed pocket monster. The_Internet_Goblin is one of the few fans who like to imagine what Gen 9 Pokemon like Farigiraf would look like as sprites from older games. Unlike most sprite artists who subtly animate their art, The_Internet_Goblin has dabbled in simplistic pixel art with Farigiraf. The artist has neatly captured Farigiraf’s two heads, one from his main body and one from his tail.
The_Internet_Goblin’s Farigiraf elf has a black tail head, which rests on top of the main body head, which appears in shades of yellow and orange. The elf also shows Farigiraf’s notable antennae in black and orange, while the yellow and black spikes on his back are also visible. Meanwhile, its body is depicted in bright orange with black spots and it has yellow legs with black hooves. Most Reddit users applauded the original poster for creating this unique POKEMON sprite so quickly, as Farigiraf revealed very recently.
For those who don’t know, The Pokemon Company recently introduced Farigiraf, which is an evolved version of Girafarig, a pocket monster introduced in the second generation. Like its predecessor, Farigiraf is a normal/psychic type Pokemon that is based on a giraffe but has a combined head from tail and main body. Both heads are connected via thick nerves that enhance his psychic abilities, which are released through the antennae at the top. Farigiraf has no visible tail as the head from its tail merges with the head of the main body.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet released on November 18th for Nintendo Switch.
