The Overwatch fan drew Zenyatta every day for over 200 days

A Overwatch The fan found a creative way to pass the time while waiting for its release Overwatch 2 drawing one of the game’s heroes, the almighty monk Zenyatta, for more than 200 days. The often humorous daily drawings depict Zenyatta in a variety of different settings and scenarios and give fans of the character something to look forward to as they count down the days until its release Overwatch 2.

In Overwatch Traditions, Zenyatta is an artificially intelligent omnic robot who scours the world in search of spiritual enlightenment. Omnics were robots created by the game’s Omnica Corporation that eventually fought against humans in Omnic Crisis, but have now been relegated to second-class citizens. In gameplay terms, Zenyatta is a support character who can heal teammates with his Orb of Harmony or destroy opponents with his Orb of Discord in the team-based first-person shooter.

Reddit user ZenUntil5v5 started posting designs of Zenyatta in February 2022 and has continued to post a new design every day since then. ZenUntil5v5 has vowed to keep posting a new drawing every day until Overwatch 2 goes into early access on October 4th. The drawings show Zenyatta in a wide range of different scenarios, often parodying movies or TV shows such as Bob’s Burgers, Avengers: Infinity Warand Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. The creator even takes a few jabs at the gaming industry’s business practices, with a drawing from early September depicting Zenyatta sitting serenely holding a sign that read “Stop Spreading ‘Free Play’.”

The Overwatch The fan community has produced fantastic fan art since the game launched, but these daily drawings show a level of dedication that few gamers could hope to match. Zenyatta and the rest of the roster from the original Overwatch all will return for the upcoming sequel, and will fight alongside or against the brand new Overwatch 2 characters like Kikiro and Junker Queen. Overwatch 2 is one of the most anticipated game releases of 2022, and content creators recently took one last big look at Overwatch 2 ahead of its upcoming release.

These Zenyatta plans give a glimpse of how excited many players are for what’s to come Overwatch 2. There have been quite a few games that have tried to copy it OverwatchThe hero-based shooter formula in recent years, but none have managed to achieve the same level of success or player recognition as Blizzard’s flagship online shooter. With rumors swirling that Overwatch 2 could take Fortnite-Post-launch crossover style, there may soon be a lot more artistic inspiration on the way for fans of the franchise.

Overwatch 2 launches in early access on October 4 for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
