Week 5 of college football The season is in full swing on Saturday with a few upsets already in the books.
Currently, there’s a matchup on FOX between No. 9 Oklahoma State and No. 16 Baylor, while No. 2 Alabama battles No. 20 Arkansas. QB Bryce Young left with an apparent shoulder injury and is questionable to return.
Earlier on FOX, No. 4 Michigan hit the road and kept its perfect record alive after defeating Iowa by double digits, while Illinois dominated Wisconsin in Brett Bielema’s first return to Madison.
Elsewhere, No. 14 Ole Miss won its 13th straight at home after taking down No. 7 Kentucky, Purdue upset No. 21 Minnesota in Minneapolis and TCU pulled off a huge upset over No. 18 of Oklahoma to Texas.

Capping things off tonight, No. 5 Clemson battles No. 10 NC State in a very important ACC tilt (7:30 p.m. ET).

No. 9 Oklahoma State at No. 16 Baylor

Baylor opened the scoring with one field goal, but the Bears’ lead was short-lived. Oklahoma State took over after QB Spencer Sanders connected with Bryson Green for an 8-yard rushing touchdown.

Oklahoma State’s defense clicked on all cylinders early, picking up a fuse in the second trimester. The Cowboys then extended their lead after Jaden Nixon returned a second-half punt 98 yards to the house.

Young exits the game
The Heisman Trophy winner left the game early in the second quarter with an apparent shoulder injury. Young entered the injury scene before heading to the locker room. Backup QB Jalen Milroe entered the game for Alabama.
Rally
After trailing 28-0, the Razorbacks scored 23 straight points, including a run perfect kick inside to make it a five-point game heading into the fourth quarter. The Crimson Tide finally responded early in the fourth, as a 77-yard run by Milroe set up a 3-yard TD run by Jase McClellan to make it 35-23.
No. 4 Michigan 27, Iowa 14
It’s getting hard
Wolverines receiver Ronnie Bell took off for a 16-yard run to put Michigan in it early.
Michigan added two field goals in the second quarter to extend its lead to 13-0 heading into the break.

The Hawkeyes avoided a shutout at home after Kaleb Johnson got into the end zone on a 2-yard rush.
It wasn’t enough to spark a comeback, however, as the No. 4-ranked Wolverines cruised to an easy win.

Very tough
Ole Miss RB Zach Evans forced his way through the Wildcats defense to give the Rebels an early lead, 7-0.

Ole Miss’ backs showed in the first quarter. Freshman Quinshon Judkins took off 48 yards for a touchdown, good for a 14-0 lead after a Kentucky field goal.
Wheels!
Barion Brown got Kentucky into action, capping the first quarter with an 85-yard punt return. The big gain gave the Wildcats great field position, and they scored in the next game to close the gap, 14-6.
One score game
After the The rebels took a fuse and added another field goal in the second quarter, the Wildcats cut their deficit to 19-12 on a quick pass from Will Levis to Tayvion Robinson just before halftime.
Tied up
In the third quarter, Levis found Jordan Dingle for a 17-yard score to tie the score.
Seal the deal
Ole Miss added a field goal in the fourth quarter to take the lead, but Kentucky came right back down the field. Brown put the Wildcats in the red zone with less than a minute left, but the Rebels defense forced another turnover to seal the victory.

Chase Brown extended Illinois’ lead with a monster 49-yarder midway through the third quarter and the Fighting Illini secured the road win.

Liberty wideout Jaivian Lofton caught an impressive 34-yard touchdown pass from QB Kaidon Salter to give the Flames an early lead over Old Dominion.
Disturbance alert!
TCU got off to a dream start against No. 18 Oklahoma, jumping out to a 17-point first-quarter lead over the Sooners. QB Max Duggan showed his speed on a 67-yard score after throwing two TDs before that.
TCU continued to dominate and lead by 31 points to start the second half. Short QB Dillon Gabriel left Saturday’s game after the reception a huge hit by TCU linebacker Jamoi Hodge, who was sacked for targeting.
The Horned Frogs completed the blowout, 55-24.
Spoilermakers
Unranked Purdue ran for 160 yards on the road to defeat PJ Fleck’s No. 21 Golden Gophers. The game was sealed with a fourth quarter interception by Cam Allen, his second of the game.

Double coverage? Not a problem for Zay Flowers. The Boston College wideout rolled on this monster pass from QB Phil Jurkovec to put the Eagles ahead of Louisville at home.
